Heavy Equipment Operator
📍Location: Grand County, Colorado

Position Overview:
This is a dual-role position requiring both leadership and hands-on mechanical expertise. You will oversee the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment, trucks, and trailers. This includes managing a small team of mechanics, service technicians, and a welder, while also performing diagnostics and repairs when needed. If you’re a seasoned mechanic with a talent for supervision and a passion for keeping equipment running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the fleet maintenance shop and satellite field repairs
• Perform and supervise service, repair, and overhaul of heavy equipment and vehicles per manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems
• Use diagnostic tools and procedures to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently
• Lead and mentor a small team (1–2 mechanics, fueler/service tech, and a welder)
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs to reduce downtime
• Monitor and manage fuel usage, oil, and lubricant inventory across all crews and equipment
• Maintain and enforce fleet documentation to comply with DOT, OSHA, and internal policies
• Track and maintain spare parts inventory with a high level of accuracy and accountability
• Ensure vehicles meet company appearance and performance standards
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and recommendations for equipment replacement or disposal
• Ensure safety is the top priority in all operations
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• 10+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience
• 5+ years of experience in Truck/Trailer Fleet maintenance and DOT compliance
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong working knowledge of CAT equipment (CAT certification a plus)
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Valid driver’s license; must be able to obtain Class A CDL within 90 days of hire
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts, use cranes, welders, grinders, and other shop equipment
• Positive attitude with strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to interpret equipment manuals, diagnostic codes, and repair procedures
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail

Position Overview:
The Senior Operations Manager will oversee all field construction operations while participating in strategic planning, project cost control, scheduling, and organizational development. This role supports the ownership team in achieving company-wide goals while focusing on execution, safety, and field productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day construction operations, project delivery, and crew performance

Manage project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field personnel

Review cost reports, time sheets, equipment logs, and project schedules to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines

Develop, update, and forecast project budgets and schedules across all phases

Monitor job cost performance, margins, and field productivity

Implement and enforce OSHA and environmental safety standards

Drive adoption and optimization of operational software (e.g., HCSS)

Prepare and present regular reports on operations, job progress, and risk analysis

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and regulators

Review and approve pay applications, change orders, and project-related invoices

Qualifications:

Proven success in job cost management, production tracking, and field team development

Familiarity with scheduling and operational software (HCSS preferred)

Strong knowledge of CAT and heavy construction equipment

Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

BSc/BA in Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience

Position Overview:
As a CDL Driver at Maximum Services, you’ll be responsible for hauling a variety of materials and heavy equipment across local and regional job sites. The ideal candidate is experienced in mountain driving, understands the mechanical workings of their truck, and maintains a professional, team-oriented approach on and off the road. Safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely haul materials, heavy equipment, and job site loads to designated locations

Operate and maintain dump trucks, lowboys, and other heavy-duty vehicles

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT standards

Maintain accurate daily driving logs, delivery records, and maintenance reports
