Class A CDL Driver

📍Location: Grand County, Colorado

Position Overview:

As a CDL Driver at Maximum Services, you’ll be responsible for hauling a variety of materials and heavy equipment across local and regional job sites. The ideal candidate is experienced in mountain driving, understands the mechanical workings of their truck, and maintains a professional, team-oriented approach on and off the road. Safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely haul materials, heavy equipment, and job site loads to designated locations

  • Operate and maintain dump trucks, lowboys, and other heavy-duty vehicles

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT standards

  • Maintain accurate daily driving logs, delivery records, and maintenance reports

  • Conduct basic daily maintenance such as fluid checks, tire inspections, and cleaning

  • Identify and report mechanical or safety issues immediately

  • Coordinate with dispatch and foremen for timely and accurate job execution

  • Follow all company and DOT safety protocols and regulations

  • Operate independently and function well within a team environment

  • Assist with equipment loading and securement as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience hauling heavy equipment or operating dump trucks

  • Minimum 2 years of mountain driving experience required

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean MVR and current DOT medical card

  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe hauling practices

  • Comfortable working around construction equipment and active job sites

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform daily inspections and light repairs

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times

  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the truck location

Equipment Mechanic Apprentice

About Us:
Maximum Services, Inc. is a top-tier civil construction and excavation contractor based in Kremmling, CO. We specialize in heavy civil infrastructure, site development, and earthmoving projects across Grand and Summit Counties. As we continue to expand our fleet and operations, we’re seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice who is eager to learn, grow, and support the maintenance and performance of our heavy equipment assets.
Position Overview:
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice will work under the guidance of our experienced mechanics to inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and support vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who wants to advance in the heavy equipment field and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, field-service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and company vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Learn to use diagnostic tools, manuals, and service software
• Maintain accurate service records and repair logs
• Ensure tools and work areas are clean, safe, and organized
• Support field breakdowns and mobile repairs when needed
• Comply with OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications:
• Previous mechanical or equipment maintenance experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems a plus
• Valid driver’s license (CDL or willingness to obtain is a bonus)
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Welder – Heavy Equipment & Civil Construction

About Us:
Maximum Services, Inc. is a civil excavation and infrastructure contractor based in Kremmling, CO, serving Grand and Summit Counties. Our work includes underground utilities, road building, grading, and heavy equipment operations. We are currently hiring a skilled Welder to join our maintenance and field support team to perform fabrication, repair, and maintenance welding on our fleet of heavy equipment and project components.
Position Overview:
The Welder is responsible for repairing, fabricating, and modifying steel components for heavy equipment, attachments, trailers, and project-related infrastructure. This position supports both shop-based repairs and mobile welding in the field and works closely with our mechanics, operators, and project crews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and reinforce heavy equipment buckets, blades, frames, trailers, and other components
• Fabricate custom parts, brackets, and supports from drawings or verbal instructions
• Operate cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and power tools
• Ensure welds meet structural integrity and safety standards
• Assist with field welding repairs on equipment at job sites
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Work efficiently and independently to meet project timelines
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of welding experience (construction or heavy equipment welding preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
